Elon Musk, people call him real-life Iron Man. Because he is the man behind Many incredible innovations. In December 2016, Elon Musk was ranked 21st on the Forbes list of the world’s most powerful persons. Elon Musk is an Engineer, Investor, and Entrepreneur. He is an inspiration to many people like me to get success. Today I am very glad to write his Inspiring Success Life story.
Early Life of Elon Musk
Elon Reeve Musk was born on June 28, 1971, to a couple of Maye Musk and Errol Musk in Pretoria, South Africa. He also has a younger brother (Kimbal Musk) and a Sister (Tosca Musk). When Elon Musk was 10 years old, his parents got divorced and Elon was moved with his father. From his younger age, Elon Musk has a pretty curiosity about Science and computers. From the age of 10, He started learning some computer coding. And at the age of 12 Elon Musk developed a code of a Video Game called “Blaster” and sold it to a company for $500 USD.
At the age of 17, Elon Musk left South Africa and arrived in Canada to complete his higher education at Queens University. Elon Musk wasn’t a Rich man by Birth. He also struggled in his life to live a normal life. As a part-time, he took a job cleaning the boiler room of a lumber mill, which involved wearing a hazmat suit and crawling into a tiny space to shovel toxic residue. Elon Musk completed his graduation at Queens University.
Later, Elon Musk left Canada to the United States and earned physics and Business Degree at the University of Pennsylvania. Afterwards he moved for further Education, He enrolled and began classes at Stanford University, California. But after only two days he decided to drop out. In that time he used to reside in a small rented room with his brother.
Here the journey started to become a Real Life Iron Man
Elon Musk has a pretty curiosity about business, In 1995, Elon Musk and his brother Kimbal Musk founded an online business company called ZIP2, (Zip2 company was a licensed online city guide software to newspapers). In 1999, ZIP2 was sold to COMPAQ (Compaq was a computers and computer-related products manufactured company) for $305 million USD. Elon Musk netted $22 million USD as his share from the company. Later, in the same year, Elon Musk commenced an Online Money transfer service website called x.com. in the following year, 2000 x.com was merged with another online money transfer service company CONFINITY. After merging they named the company as PayPal. Elon took the charge as CEO of the Paypal company.
Due to internal disagreements, Elon Musk was pushed out from his CEO position. In 2002 eBay was acquired PayPal in a deal valued at $1.5 Billion USD in stock. As a company’s largest shareholder Elon Musk was received $165 million USD.
Elon Musk loves to read books, he read many books about Space, Rockets, and Technology, etc. Elon Musk thought to send rockets into space on his own. Sending rockets into space is not an easy thing. And also Its a Huge cost-effective thing. But Elon Musk wants to send rockets into space at a lower cost. Subsequently, In 2002, Elon founded a company called SpaceX (Space Exploration Technologies Corporation) with $100 million USD.
Elon Musk wanted to implement a couple of innovative ideas, to avoid pollution which releases from Diesel or petrol cars. He thought to invent Electric cars. For that, he was invested in Tesla. And also Elon invested in Solar city.
SpaceX
In 2006, March 24, SpaceX launched its first rocket Falcon 1. But Unfortunately, it was failed, Just 33 seconds after liftoff. Again In 2007, the second attempt was implemented and the second one also ran towards failure. In 2008, SpaceX attempted the third time, third one failed too. But SpaceX did not step back and again in 2008, September 28, SpaceX tested their fourth attempt, this time Falcon 1 successfully reached to low earth orbit and created a sensation. SpaceX created many sensations so far like successfully developed fully reusable Rockets.

Subsequently, Elon Musk set his sights on Motor vehicle Industry. In February 2004, Elon Musk invested a good amount of wealth and joined Tesla’s board of directors as its chairman. In 2008 Elon Musk also become as CEO and product architect of Tesla Inc. Now Tesla Inc is the world’s leading electric car company.
Solar City
Elon Musk provided the initial concept and financial capital for the company SolarCity. This company was co-founded by Elon Musk cousins Lyndon and Peter Rive in 2006. By 2013, SolarCity was the 2nd largest provider of solar tech in the United States. SolarCity was acquired by Tesla Inc. in November 2016 and is currently a wholly owned subsidiary of Tesla.
