All modern-day Shih Tzu’s came from those 14.

Shih Tzu doesn’t shed as much as other dog breeds. They still need daily brushing to maintain their coat. Shih Tzu’s are great with other dogs and people. But can be stubborn or slower to train. Shih Tzu’s are strictly indoor dogs, but still need daily exercise. These Shih tzu does not do well in hot and humid weather.

Bhicon Frise originated in the Mediterranean area, and is believed to have developed by a cross between a barbet which is a large water dog, with small lap dogs.

The cross resulted in four Bichon breeds; Maltese, Bolognaise, Havanese and Tenerife. The Tenerife, named after the island of Tenerife, later developed into the Bichon Frise. This dogs look very cute compare with other dogs. These dogs are Sensitive, Affectionate, Cheerful, Feisty, Playful and Gentle.

These dogs also tend to bark a lot. The Bichon Frise does not shed, but the loose hair can get entangled and cause matting. This requires daily brushing to remove old hair, coupled with a bath at least once a month to keep the dog clean. It’s an active dog that requires either an exhausting game indoors or a moderate walk on a leash or game in the yard every day.
